Like BSTs, spiders are also shunned by people worldwide but for different reasons than the former. To help Ariane get over her fear of spiders, I decided to invite her BRD (or maybe it was the other way around) to a meripo at the Mamool Ja Staging Point. Frankly, I was trying to kill two birds with one stone: I wanted to show how well my BST could perform in a meripo and help a friend get exp at the same time.
Unfortunately, using Lars did not seem to rub off on Ariane. I think she might have been too busy pulling to notice him much. When the PLD and MNK had to go, she decided to invite a NIN and SAM, and that is when things really started to get rolling. We were clobbering mobs left and right, and for the most part, it was very successful -- the NIN could have been more aggressive though. I suppose tanking is a hard job, so I am not complaining much.
Especially when I bested my previous limit chain by 45. I think every BST appreciates good BRD songs; "Minuet" and "Madrigal" really made me feel like a WAR.
I still miss my Juggernaut despite its high price tag. I think I will repurchase one someday, but for now, it will have to wait.
