More About Liabelle

Often, I find myself repeating old content, and today is no exception! With the latest expansion pack focusing on events of the past, I have decided to recount Liabelle's earlier days in detail.

Liabelle was not always sporting the sultry outfit she is now. Above, Liabelle is clad in level 9, San d'Orian armor parts at a time prior to my BST career. Back then, she would get caught in downpours, ruin her best dress, and complain of the outpost guards who refused her shelter.

Personality wise, she always enjoys talking about clothes and jewelery: Jeuno is her favorite spot for the former while Bastok is her favorite for the latter. At times, Liabelle can seem slightly rude or self-centered, but I have learned to get along with her.

Liabelle is also great company for any event or occasion. Here, Liabelle, in level 10, San d'Orian armor, accompanies me (on my level 37 THF) during a Moat Carp Fishing session, yet another time prior to my BST career. For those who are unfamiliar with Fishing, it takes 10k Moat Carp to earn a Lu Shang's Fishing Rod, so Liabelle's company definitely helped pass the time.

There also seems to be a lot of Lia lookalikes these days too! Like her twin Bamaise, Liabelle also specializes in healing magic, but unlike Bamaise, Liabelle packs a Kiku-Ichimonji for a sidearm, an expensive 430k gil purchase. I suppose one could argue that I did spoil Lia a bit given that the weapon is purely for aesthetics, but I have not had second thoughts ever since.

This picture has nothing to do with Liabelle, but on the tangent of past events, I decided to visit a WotG area to hunt some Gnole Claws for the quest "Better Part of Valor." Accompanying me is one of my friends, Amnasor, who also needed the quest, and we got two claws in less than thirty Gnoles while in Jugner Forest [S]. If only Liabelle could visit past areas.
